Job Description

The Fond du Lac Family YMCA is hiring Child Watch Attendants to positively model and reinforce the YMCA's core values and mission statement while assisting in the planning, implementing and supervision of the daily activities for a designated group of children.
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Maintain the physical environment of the Child Watch
  • Plans daily activities for children who may attend and guide them through these activities, remains an active participant with the children through all activities
  • Responsible for the safety, supervision, and activities for all assigned children at all times
  • Responsible for the daily attendance records, collection of fees and for any other required reports for the administration of Child Watch
  • Communicates child progress and/or problems with parents on a daily basis verbally
  • Maintains the classroom in an orderly manner ensuring that daily sanitizing/cleaning and basic health and safety codes are always met
REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to easily move through all program areas and effectively communicate and actively interact with children and parents.
  • Ability to plan, lead and participate in activities.
  • Must be able to lift and carry (5
  • 50 pounds)
  • Must be able to perform physical functions necessary to program instruction, including but not limited to squatting, bending, and kneeling
WAGE SCALE
$9.50+ per hour based on experience
WORK DAYS
Monday-Friday 8:00 am-12:30 pm; Tuesday/Thursday 4:00 pm-7:00 pm; Saturday 8:00 am-11:00 am https://www.fdlymca.org/employment.html
