This full-time position for the 2026-2027 school year is centered in one building, ensuring a consistent and focused environment where you can build impactful relationships with students and staff. You'll manage a caseload of 20-30 students with IEPs, partnering closely with educators and families to foster academic, social, and emotional growth.
Qualifications and Skills:
Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution required Valid and current state licensure/certification to practice as a School Social Worker Prior experience in K-12 educational settings or with students holding IEPs highly preferred Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills Collaborative spirit and an ability to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team Familiarity with IEP processes, progress monitoring, and compliance standards
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students social, emotional, and behavioral needs for IEP eligibility and ongoing services Develop and implement individualized interventions, addressing social, behavioral, and emotional challenges Provide direct support and counseling to students, either one-on-one or in small groups Collaborate with teachers, parents, and related service staff to ensure holistic support Actively participate in IEP meetings and contribute to development of student goals Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines This role offers you the chance to truly make a differenceworking Monday through Friday, in one building, with a dedicated caseload.
