Duties Conduct thorough mental health and behavioral assessments using standardized tools and clinical judgment Deliver individual, group, and family counseling utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients experiencing acute mental health or behavioral emergencies Develop personalized care plans aligned with client needs, goals, and clinical documentation standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care, including medical professionals, educators, and community agencies Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems in compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality policies Collect data for clinical research projects related to mental health interventions, addiction counseling, or developmental disabilities Requirements Valid licensure as a Graduate Social Worker (e.g., LGSW or equivalent) with eligibility for full licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or similar credential within the required timeframe Experience working with children, adolescents, or adults in mental health or behavioral health settings Proficiency in psychotherapy modalities such as motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy Knowledge of medical terminology, psychiatric patient care standards, and clinical documentation protocols Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems, HIPAA regulations, and medical records management Strong skills in crisis management, patient assessment, case management, and client communication Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder Experience in home & community care environments is preferred; hospital experience is a plus Additional expertise in addiction counseling, PTSD care, geriatrics or Alzheimer's care is advantageous Join us to be part of a vibrant team committed to transforming lives through compassionate social work.
