Work Environment This role is primarily remote, but it is grounded in the supportive outpatient facilities located in Bakersfield, California. You will harness the latest technology to provide treatment digitally and maintain effective communication with clients. Key Responsibilities Assess, diagnose, and evaluate each patient's mental health status using appropriate clinical tools, as outlined in the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM). Each patient will receive a tailored plan of care that respects their cultural background and individual needs. Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans that incorporate feedback and collaboration with patients and their families, ensuring that agreed-upon goals and therapeutic outcomes are met efficiently. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all treatment records and clinical information, complying with regulatory standards and departmental protocols while utilizing contemporary technology effectively. Continuously monitor patient progress, employing evidence-based interventions and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to support mental health recovery. Serve as a bridge between patients and various treatment providers, effectively coordinating referrals and establishing strong working relationships within a network of healthcare professionals. Provide educational opportunities and mentorship for students, interns, and volunteers, fostering a collaborative learning environment that promotes professional growth and excellence in patient care. Participate in peer reviews, clinical collaboration sessions, and chart audits under the supervision of your clinical manager to enhance the skill set and development of the entire clinical team. Patient Population / Client Focus At Habit Growth Solutions, our patient population is diverse, spanning various age groups, backgrounds, and therapeutic needs. As an LCSW, you will work with individuals facing an array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and more. Our approach prioritizes the unique circumstances of each client, ensuring that care is not only effective but also respectful and culturally sensitive. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work. A valid, current LCSW license in California. Demonstrated experience in the mental health field with a minimum of two years of clinical work. Ability to engage in physical activities such as standing, walking, or lifting up to twenty-five pounds as required. A professional commitment to ethical standards and ongoing development in clinical practice. Preferred Experience Experience with telehealth platforms and electronic health record systems is preferred. Prior experience in an outpatient setting and familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities will be advantageous. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary range of
USD 90,000
to 105,000 annually, complemented by an extensive benefits package. This includes health, dental, vision, and life insurance, along with a 401(k) plan with employer matching.
