Required Qualifications Licensed Social Worker, School Experience:
New Grad Accepted- Master's degree in social work (MSW) (includes practicum and internship)
- Social Work Clinical Exam (administered by the ASWB)
- School-based Social Workers do not need a state license in CO. They only need Colorado Department of Education Special Services Provider License (CDE SSP)
- 2 years post MSW supervised clinical experience
- Clear, articulate communication skills
- Ability to develop strategies and make referrals for a diverse population
- Previous school experience a plus!
- Completion of a criminal record and background check
- Colorado will allow social workers that qualify to get their temporary Educators Eligibility certification (TEE) Preferred Qualifications Candidates that meet the qualifications to receive their full certification through the Colorado Department of Education.
