The IICAPS model is designed to address specific psychiatric disorders in clients between the ages of 5 and 17, while teaching effective parenting practices and/or addressing other family challenges that affect the child and family's ability to function. While children with psychiatric symptoms are the focus of intervention, the model addresses and intervenes within the domains that impact the child most directly: family, school, community resources and service systems. The IICAPS Clinician works in partnership with a Bachelor's Level Mental Health Counselor fostering positive relationships with clients, families, school systems and community providers to ensure clients receive comprehensive care in all areas.
Additional responsibilities include:
Conduct Individual, Parent & Family therapy sessions within the home and community. Conduct Clinical Assessments. Create Treatment Plans and conduct reviews as warranted. Limited on-call Support. Agency phone provided. Qualifications and Skills License eligible Master's Degree in Social Work, Professional Counseling or Marriage and Family Therapy. Social Work Graduates with a LMSW test date and/or Temporary Permit are encouraged to apply. Professional Counselor and Marriage & Family Therapist graduates, an Associate license is required. (LPC-A or LMFTA) Afternoon and evening work hour availability required. Valid CT Driver's License and clean driving record required. Experience providing in-home therapy highly preferred. Spanish Speaking a plus.
Benefits Competitive Salary Range:
$60,840.00

00. Salary range takes into consideration licensure and bilingual capabilities. $3,000 sign on bonus. Additional $2 per hour for face to face time with clients. Opportunity to earn up to $2,000 more per year (included in salary range above). Opportunity to earn up to $16,000 a year in quarterly incentives.
