- We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and resources to individuals and families in need, helping them navigate various challenges related to mental health, addiction, and social services. This role requires a strong commitment to advocacy and a deep understanding of community resources. Skills/Qualifications
- Familiarity with use of electronic medical records such as EPIC
- Individual case management and knowledge of managed care
- De-escalation/restraint management techniques
- Motivational Interviewing and short-term treatment techniques
- Brief family interventions as needed
- Strong ability to assess and evaluate patient needs and develop treatment plans to address the identified needs.
- Good communication, listening, and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills

Booster Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Inpatient acute care, Min. Of 2 years exp. Master of Social Work Duties Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualized service plans. Provide crisis intervention and support for clients facing immediate challenges. Offer counseling services, including addiction counseling and motivational interviewing techniques. Collaborate with healthcare providers, schools, and community organizations to coordinate care. Assist clients with accessing resources such as Section 8 housing, childcare services, and workforce development programs. Advocate for clients within the child welfare system and facilitate connections to behavioral health services. Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and progress in accordance with agency policies. Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Qualifications A degree in Social Work or a related field is required; licensure is preferred. Experience in behavioral health, childcare, or crisis intervention is highly desirable. Familiarity with Medicare processes and child welfare systems is a plus. Strong skills in motivational interviewing and mentoring are beneficial. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards in all client interactions.
