This is a remote, independent-contractor position supporting patients who may be managing neurological conditions, injuries, chronic pain, anxiety, depression, trauma, and life changes affecting their overall well-being. Responsibilities Conduct telehealth psychosocial assessments Provide individual counseling and behavioral-health interventions Develop patient-centered treatment plans Support patients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, adjustment difficulties, and chronic illness Complete timely, accurate clinical documentation Coordinate care with medical providers and other members of the care team Identify safety concerns and follow appropriate escalation procedures Maintain patient privacy and comply with HIPAA and professional standards Qualifications Active, unrestricted Georgia LCSW license Master's degree in social work from an accredited program Experience providing individual counseling through telehealth Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work independently and manage an assigned caseload Reliable computer, secure internet connection, and private workspace Experience with neurological conditions, chronic pain, trauma, or personal-injury patients is preferred Position Details Independent contractor Remote/off-site telehealth Serving patients located in Georgia Flexible scheduling based on patient and practice needs Compensation based on experience and agreed service arrangement United Neurology is committed to delivering compassionate, coordinated care that addresses both the physical and emotional needs of our patients.
