Job Description
Aquinas Hospice is Joint Commission Accredited. We are looking for experienced Hospice Medical Social Worker (MSW) to join our clinical field staff! We are eager to partner with a highly motivated MSW with strong assessment skills to oversee hospice patients psychosocial care. Someone who's passionate about making a difference in the lives of patients and families during life's most meaningful moments. Aquinas Hospice is a locally owned family business . We are committed to providing high quality health care to the people in the KC Metro Area. Hospice experience is preferred.
What You'll Do:
Provide emotional support and crisis intervention Conduct psycho-social assessments Connect families with vital community resources Advocate for patient safety and dignity Support diverse cultural and spiritual needsWhat You Bring:
Master's in Social Work (MSW) Licensed Social Worker in Kansas and Missouri 1+ year of medical social work (hospice preferred) Strong communication skills & a heart for service Willingness to travel locally This is a Full-time position Mileage reimbursement @ .71c/mi Holiday and Paid Time Off Health Insurance 401K Benefit Company Car optionLicense/Certification:
