Work Environment This role is primarily remote, granting you the flexibility to manage your schedule while fulfilling your responsibilities effectively. Regular business hours will form the backbone of your schedule, with occasional evening and weekend work required to meet client needs. Key Responsibilities Conduct in-depth assessments to uncover clients' unique social, emotional, and environmental challenges. Develop tailored service plans that include specific goals, interventions, and ongoing progress monitoring. Provide individual and family counseling focused on life challenges, emotional well-being, and resource access. Work closely with clients to create personalized action plans, connecting them with the necessary community resources and supports. Offer crisis intervention strategies, perform risk assessments, and develop safety plans as required. Engage in productive collaboration with community agencies, ensuring holistic service provision and strong advocacy for clients. Participate in community outreach initiatives to raise awareness about available services and enhance community engagement. Engage in team meetings, case conferences, and staff training sessions to ensure alignment on best practices and organizational goals. Patient Population / Client Focus You will work primarily with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds facing various life challenges. This includes those experiencing mental health issues, socioeconomic hardships, or crises related to domestic violence or substance abuse. Your role as a clinician will involve not only providing clinical support but also advocating for systemic changes that address and alleviate the root causes of these challenges. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. Active state licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts. Demonstrated knowledge of social and economic justice principles, community resources, and trauma-informed care. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse populations. Cultural competence and a knack for problem-solving in various social contexts. Preferred Experience Prior experience within a social service agency or similar environment is strongly preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based practices in social work, mental health, and community outreach. Compensation and Benefits This position offers a competitive salary range of
USD 60,000
to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
