Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate expertise in various therapeutic modalities. This role involves providing comprehensive clinical services to individuals, families, and groups, with a focus on enhancing emotional well-being and promoting positive mental health outcomes. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine appropriate treatment plans. Provide individual and group counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Psychodynamic Therapy. Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients in acute distress. Engage in motivational interviewing techniques to foster client engagement and empowerment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care, including case management and coordination of services. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, including EMR systems for patient records. Facilitate behavioral therapy sessions for children and families, focusing on developmental disabilities, autism, and special education needs. Participate in clinical research initiatives and data collection efforts to enhance service delivery and contribute to the field of social work. Provide addiction counseling and support for individuals dealing with PTSD or trauma-related issues. Offer home and community care services as needed, ensuring accessibility for all clients. Requirements Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution; LCSW licensure is required. Proven experience in psychotherapy, particularly with children and families. Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9, and ICD-10 coding systems. Strong understanding of behavioral health practices, including crisis management and geriatric care. Experience working with diverse populations, including those with developmental disabilities or mental health challenges. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality. Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while also demonstrating independence in clinical decision-making. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
