Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate to join our mental health and behavioral care team. In this role, you will provide clinical social work services to individuals facing various mental health challenges, including substance use disorders. You will work closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans, offer counseling, and support their journey toward recovery and well-being. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients' lives while gaining valuable experience in a collaborative healthcare environment. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status and identify treatment needs. Provide individual counseling and psychotherapy focused on mental health, behavioral issues, and substance use disorders. Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. Offer crisis intervention and support during acute mental health episodes. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and case notes in compliance with organizational policies. Collaborate with healthcare providers, community resources, and support networks to coordinate comprehensive care. Stay informed about current best practices in clinical social work, mental health treatment modalities, and substance use disorder interventions. Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality as outlined by licensing boards and organizational policies. Requirements Valid license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW or equivalent) or license eligible for licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Associate. Experience working with individuals experiencing mental health issues, including behavioral health challenges. Prior experience working with clients who have substance use disorders is highly preferred. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with diverse populations. Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team. Knowledge of evidence-based practices in mental health treatment and substance use disorder interventions. Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism, empathy, and cultural competence. Pay:
$26.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 20.0 - 30.0 per week
