Job Description

Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) - Correctional Mental Health | Travel Contract Multiple Locations Across North Carolina | 13-Week Contract| $2,400/WK (40 hrs) We are seeking experienced Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) for contract opportunities supporting behavioral health services within correctional healthcare settings across North Carolina. This is a great opportunity for an LCSW who enjoys hands-on clinical work and is comfortable supporting a diverse patient population. Previous correctional experience is preferred but not required — candidates with strong inpatient, outpatient, community mental health, government, or county social work experience will also be considered. What You'll Do Conduct mental health assessments and intake screenings Provide individual and group therapy Perform crisis intervention and preventive behavioral health services Provide community resource referrals and support re-entry planning Manage complex cases requiring a broad range of social work and intervention techniques Work directly with an incarcerated patient population as part of the facility's behavioral health team Requirements Active, unrestricted North Carolina LCSW license Approximately 2+ years of LCSW experience BLS through the American Heart Association (AHA) Experience conducting assessments, therapy, and behavioral health interventions Ability to work effectively with diverse and potentially high-acuity patient populations Preferred Experience Correctional mental health Government or county behavioral health Inpatient behavioral health Outpatient mental health Crisis intervention Individual and group counseling Previous correctional experience is not required. Qualified inpatient and outpatient LCSW backgrounds will be considered.

Schedule:
Flexible Potential schedules can include 8-, 10-, or 12-hour shifts Weekday and weekend options may be available depending on facility needs Why Consider This Opportunity?
