Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health and behavioral assessments utilizing diagnostic tools such as

ICD-10/ICD-9

codes and DSM criteria. Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based practices including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and motivational interviewing. Provide crisis management and intervention for patients experiencing acute psychiatric or behavioral emergencies. Collaborate with medical professionals to coordinate psychiatric patient care, medication management, and psychopharmacology consultations. Maintain accurate clinical documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations, medical terminology standards, and clinical confidentiality policies within electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems. Engage in case management activities such as patient care planning, data collection for clinical research, and follow-up assessments. Work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and those with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder to deliver tailored mental health interventions. Support patients through intake procedures, mental health assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and treatment planning aligned with clinical documentation standards. Experience Licensed as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with current state licensure required. Proven experience in psychotherapy modalities including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, addiction counseling, and crisis intervention. Demonstrated expertise working with children, adolescents, geriatrics, or individuals with disabilities or developmental disorders such as autism or Alzheimer's disease. Experience working within hospital settings or home & community care environments preferred. Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for documentation and data collection purposes. Knowledge of medical terminology related to psychiatric patient care and familiarity with CPT coding and ICD coding systems (ICD-10/ICD-9). Ability to perform mental health assessments, behavioral health interventions, and diagnostic evaluations effectively. Strong understanding of clinical social work principles including client communication, case management strategies, and evidence-based practices in mental health counseling.
