Job Description

The Journey Project (formerly known as the Sexual Abuse Treatment Program) at Family & Children's Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated licensed social worker. The program is known statewide for its work with children and adolescents with illegal and problematic sexual behaviors, as well as, working with families impacted by sexual abuse. This position offers extensive training (including evidenced based treatment) and the potential for trauma-based certification. Therapists in this program work closely together in a team environment. The program offers group and individual supervision by a LCSW-R.
Duties Include:
individual, family and group work with victims of trauma and their families as well as, therapeutic interventions with children and adolescents with problematic and illegal sexual behavior and adults who have sexually offended. Applicants should demonstrate an awareness and understanding of LGBTQ issues, and practice gender affirming interactions with others.
