Heart-Centered Health is seeking an experienced New York-licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to support youth and young adults at a residential vocational training campus in beautiful Oneonta, New York, at the foothills of the Catskills. The young people on this campus are building careers, developing independence, overcoming barriers, and figuring out what comes next. As the campus mental health clinician, you'll have the opportunity to become part of that journey — supporting students through assessment, education, advocacy, and collaboration with the larger campus community. You'll work alongside counselors, healthcare professionals, residential staff, instructors, and campus leadership who are all invested in helping young people succeed. A schedule built for balance Approximately 28 hours per week Daytime hours, Monday through Friday No nights No weekends Flexibility in how weekly hours are structured within campus needs Potential to consolidate hours into fewer, longer weekdays Travel stipend provided This can be an especially attractive opportunity for an established clinician looking for substantial, consistent part-time work while still maintaining room for private practice, family, another professional commitment, or simply a better-balanced week. The position is on-site in Oneonta, NY. Clinicians from the Binghamton/Broome County area and surrounding communities are strongly encouraged to apply. What you'll do Your work will include: Short-term individual counseling and mental health support Clinical assessment and treatment recommendations Crisis assessment and intervention Case consultation and care coordination Mental health education and prevention Referrals and connection to community resources Collaboration with the campus health and wellness team Consultation with counselors, instructors, residential staff, and leadership Supporting students as they work toward successful completion of their educational and vocational goals The focus is not long-term psychotherapy. It is practical, relationship-centered mental health support that helps young people stay engaged, overcome barriers, and move forward. Who we're looking for You must: Hold an active New York LCSW license Have at least one year of independently licensed clinical experience Be comfortable working with youth and young adults Be able to exercise thoughtful, independent clinical judgment Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team Experience in adolescent or young-adult behavioral health, schools, residential programs, community mental health, integrated care, trauma-informed care, or similar settings is especially welcome.
