Job Description
Week Required Availability:
Applicants must be available to work in person Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM during the school year. During summer and school breaks, these client programming hours shift to daytime to align with the Day Treatment Program schedule. About Mindful Behavioral Care Mindful Behavioral Care is dedicated to providing high-quality behavioral health services to children and adolescents in a supportive, collaborative environment. We are seeking a Licensed Social Worker (LSW/LISW) to join our growing Day Treatment team. This hybrid position combines direct client care, clinical documentation, treatment planning, and family communication. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the clinician will support children and adolescents throughout the Day Treatment Program while ensuring documentation meets agency standards. Essential Responsibilities Clinical Services
- Provide clinical support throughout the Day Treatment Program.
- Build therapeutic relationships with children and adolescents receiving services.
- Assist with behavioral interventions and de-escalation as clinically appropriate.
- Collaborate with clinicians and program staff to support treatment goals and client progress.
- Communicate with parents and guardians regarding client progress, concerns, and successes.
- Participate in treatment planning and interdisciplinary team meetings. Clinical Documentation
- Complete timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation.
- Develop and update individualized treatment plans.
- Complete required treatment summaries and clinical reports.
- Maintain documentation required for prior authorization and continued stay requests.
- Complete additional clinical documentation and administrative responsibilities as assigned to support program operations,
- Ensure documentation meets agency, payer, and Ohio Medicaid standards. Qualifications Required
- Ohio Licensed Social Worker (LSW)
- Strong clinical writing and documentation skills
- Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team Preferred
- Experience working with children and adolescents
