Work Environment Our clinic operates entirely remotely, providing flexibility for our team members while maintaining a collaborative and supportive atmosphere. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists, psychologists, nurses, and case managers, allowing for comprehensive and cohesive patient care. Your role will also involve engaging with a culturally diverse clientele, enriching the therapeutic experience and fostering an inclusive practice. Key Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, encompassing psychosocial assessments, diagnostic interviews, and risk assessments to understand patients' needs fully. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, ensuring that cultural sensitivities and personal goals are considered. Facilitate individual, couple, family, and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). Provide crisis intervention support and collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care for patients experiencing acute distress. Maintain accurate clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries, adhering to clinic policies and regulatory standards. Engage in psychoeducation with patients and their families to equip them with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage mental health challenges. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and progress, fostering a collaborative approach to treatment. Evaluate treatment effectiveness through routine outcome assessments and make adjustments to therapy plans as needed. Stay informed about current research, best practices, and emerging trends in mental health, applying this knowledge to improve clinical practice. Uphold ethical standards and ensure patient confidentiality in all interactions and documentation. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Countryside Psychiatry, you will work with a diverse array of patients, including those dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and various other mental health conditions. A strong understanding of cultural competence will enhance your ability to connect with clients from different backgrounds, ensuring that treatment is respectful and personalized. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work is required to ensure a strong theoretical foundation in social work practices. An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory for practice. Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for rapport-building with patients from various cultural backgrounds. Preferred Experience Experience in trauma-informed care and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities (CBT, DBT, etc.) preferred. Previous work experience in a community health setting is a plus, enhancing familiarity with the challenges and rewards of serving diverse populations. Compensation and Benefits The annual salary for this position ranges from $80,000 to $100,000, with actual compensation varying based on geographic location, experience, education, and skills.
