Key Responsibilities Your daily responsibilities will center around providing therapeutic support and interventions to clients battling substance abuse issues.
Specific responsibilities include:
Conducting thorough psycho-social assessments to understand clients' needs and challenges. Developing personalized treatment plans rooted in evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Administering therapeutic interventions that are specifically tailored to promote recovery from substance abuse. Maintaining meticulous and compliant clinical records to ensure continuity of care and adherence to regulatory standards. Collaborating closely with multidisciplinary treatment teams to create coordinated and effective care strategies. Providing education and resources to both clients and their families to promote understanding of mental health and substance abuse issues. Regularly updating your knowledge base with the latest research and integrating findings into therapeutic practices. Managing a diverse caseload while striving to meet treatment goals and maintain high ethical standards. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on individuals struggling with substance use addictions and co-occurring mental health disorders. This role requires an understanding of the unique challenges faced by these populations, as well as a genuine desire to assist clients in developing coping strategies and achieving lasting recovery. Qualifications To qualify for this position, candidates must possess: A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution. A valid LCSW license to practice in Texas. A minimum of one year of clinical experience specifically in the field of substance abuse therapy. A strong grasp of solution-focused interventions and therapeutic modalities relevant to substance use treatment. Exceptional communication and teamwork skills, along with sound problem-solving abilities. Preferred Experience While one year of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in addressing co-occurring disorders, trauma-informed care, or group therapy facilitation will be highly regarded. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital documentation tools is also advantageous. Compensation and Benefits North Bay Social Work offers a competitive salary range of
USD 80,000
to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
