Job Overview Watercourse Way Wellness is seeking a compassionate, experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our growing team. We are a developing substance use disorder treatment team program committed to meeting clients where they are, supporting multiple pathways to recovery, and providing individualized, relationship-centered care. This position is ideal for an LCSW who enjoys direct client care while also helping support and develop other clinicians. The LCSW will provide clinical supervision to SUDCs, conduct comprehensive assessments, facilitate individual counseling sessions and groups, and collaborate with our multidisciplinary team to support clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health needs. We are looking for someone who is clinically strong, approachable, collaborative, and comfortable working in a relatively young environment where flexibility creativity, and teamwork matter. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Provide qualified clinical supervision and consultation to SUDCs in accordance with Utah licensing requirements and scope of practice.
• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial and substance use assessments and contribute to appropriate level-of-care recommendations.
• Provide individual counseling to clients with substance use and co-occurring mental health concerns.
• Facilitate engaging, evidence-informed group sessions.
• Develop, review, and update individualized treatment plans.
• Complete timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation consistent with regulatory, payer, and organizational requirements.
• Provide clinical guidance regarding complex cases, relapse risk, mental health concerns, crisis situations, and changes in level of care.
• Collaborate with SUDCs, case managers, peer support staff, medical providers, outside treatment providers, and other members of the care team.
• Support continuity of care across PHP, IOP, GOP, residential referrals, and community-based services.
• Participate in staff meetings, case consultation, program development, and quality-improvement efforts.
• Maintain professional boundaries, confidentiality, ethical standards, and compiance with applicable state and federal regulations.
• Help foster a workplace culture that values compassion, curiosity, collaboration, and respect for both clients and staff. Qualifications and Skills
• Current, unrestricted Utah LCSW license in good standing.
• Meets Utah requirements to provide clinical supervision to SUDCs.
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals experiencing substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health concerns.
• Ability to facilitate both individual and group services.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organization skills.
• Comfortable working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Preferred
• Previous experience in substance use disorder treatment.
• Experience working with justice-involved individuals, reentry populations, probation/parole, DCFS, or other community systems.
• Experience with PHP, IOP, outpatient, residential, or other structured behavioral health settings.
• Experience supervising SUDCs or other behavioral health professionals.
• Familiarity with ASAM criteria, motivational interviewing, harm-reduction principles, relapse prevention, and trauma-informed care.
• Experience working with Medicaid and insurance documentation requirements.
