Work Environment This role is a remote position, allowing you to effectively engage with clients from the comfort of your own home while utilizing telehealth platforms for therapy sessions. Our team utilizes state-of-the-art technology to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care, fostering a sense of connection and support despite geographical barriers. You will participate in regular virtual meetings with colleagues for case consultations, training, and team-building activities, ensuring that you remain integrated within our counseling team. Key Responsibilities Provide individual, couple, and family therapy through telehealth, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to client needs. Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including complete mental status exams, to identify client needs and diagnose mental health conditions. Maintain accurate and up-to-date case notes and progress reports in compliance with organizational and legal standards, ensuring a clear treatment history for each client. Utilize a calm and empathetic approach to de-escalate high-stress situations, providing clients with effective coping strategies and solutions during therapy sessions. Collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, case managers, and other healthcare providers, to coordinate comprehensive client care. Facilitate engaging therapeutic interventions both in individual and group settings, dynamically adjusting based on client feedback and progress. Actively contribute to team discussions, sharing insights and strategies to enhance therapeutic practices and improve overall client care outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus This position serves a diverse clientele suffering from various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship challenges, and more. You will work with clients of all ages, offering tailored therapy approaches to ensure a person-centered treatment experience that respects individual circumstances and promotes sustained recovery. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required, accompanied by a valid Massachusetts LCSW license enabling independent clinical practice. A minimum of two years of proven experience in a clinical setting, performing individual and group therapy with a diverse population. Demonstrable skills in empathy and emotional intelligence, with a strong ability to establish rapport and foster trust with clients facing challenging life situations. Proficiency in telehealth technologies and electronic health record systems, ensuring efficient documentation and communication practices. Preferred Experience Experience working with specific populations such as children, adolescents, or individuals dealing with substance use disorders is preferred. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and cognitive-behavioral therapy techniques. Experience contributing to program development or quality improvement initiatives within a mental health setting. Compensation and Benefits Chrysalis Health Counseling offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, based on experience and qualifications.
