Key Responsibilities As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be tasked with numerous responsibilities, including but not limited to: Providing direct clinical services by assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders. Creating individualized care plans that are evidence-based and developmentally appropriate, ensuring access to necessary services tailored to the clients' needs. Conducting brief screenings, and if necessary, arranging for comprehensive assessments to gain a deeper understanding of the clients' conditions. Conducting therapy sessions either individually, in groups, or with families to address emotional and behavioral issues. Participating actively as a member of a multidisciplinary team, collaborating with educators, healthcare providers, and family members to ensure comprehensive care. Maintaining thorough documentation, ensuring timely completion of reports and data submission to monitor client progress and outcomes. Patient Population / Client Focus Your primary focus will be on the student population within the school system. This diverse group may include children and adolescents dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, learning disabilities, and other emotional/behavioral challenges. You will advocate for their needs, providing culturally competent care and leveraging community resources to support their mental health needs. Qualifications To qualify for this role, candidates must possess: A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Texas. A Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred. Strong knowledge of assessment, diagnosis, and treatment methodologies applicable to the assigned population.
