Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments for clients presenting with major mental illness or severe emotional disorders, determining their needs and creating customized treatment plans. Engage actively in individual, group, and family therapy sessions, with a strong commitment to empowering clients through choice and self-determination. Monitor client progress towards therapeutic goals, adapting treatment strategies based on ongoing evaluations. Provide crisis intervention as necessary, offering immediate support and guidance to clients in distress. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a seamless integration of services, sharing vital information to optimize patient care. Ensure compliance with all ethical standards and organizational protocols while promoting a culture of safety, respect, and diversity. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with organizational policies. Participate in quality improvement committees aimed at enhancing service delivery and client satisfaction. Patient Population / Client Focus The LCSW will work primarily with adults and families facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and other severe emotional disorders. Often, these clients have historically been part of underserved populations, requiring culturally competent approaches to care that honor diverse backgrounds, beliefs, and experiences. The role is critical in facilitating access to mental health services for those often isolated by socioeconomic barriers. Qualifications A valid and active LCSW license in the state of California. A minimum of a bachelor's degree in social work or a related field is required. Demonstrable expertise in assessing, diagnosing, and treating mental health disorders effectively. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage caseloads efficiently while meeting tight deadlines. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, necessary for effective client engagement and teamwork. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation and data management. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines and the code of conduct. Preferred Experience Candidates with at least two years of clinical experience, particularly in working with vulnerable populations or in hospice settings, will be prioritized. Experience in community-based settings and knowledge of integration of social services and healthcare systems will enhance the application. Compensation and Benefits This full-time position offers a competitive salary in the range of
USD 70,000
to 85,000 annually.
