This position is designed for clinicians who want the flexibility to build a schedule that works for them while receiving consistent referrals, strong administrative support, and access to a thoughtfully curated clinical environment. Clinicians may provide services in person, through telehealth, or through a hybrid arrangement. Lifepath Center completes credentialing with major commercial insurance plans and Medi-Cal managed-care plans on behalf of eligible clinicians. What Lifepath Center Offers Compensation of $70 per clinical hour Paid time off 401(k) retirement benefits Consistent client referrals Flexible scheduling from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Scheduling availability seven days per week In-person, telehealth, and hybrid work options Beautifully curated and professionally maintained therapy offices Extensive scheduling, billing, and administrative support Streamlined documentation systems Clinical documentation that typically takes approximately three to five minutes to complete Monthly case staffing and clinical consultation opportunities Opportunity to provide clinical supervision to associate therapists, when qualified and approved Credentialing support for major insurance plans, including Medi-Cal managed-care plans Position Responsibilities The licensed clinical social worker will: Provide individual, couples, family, or other clinically appropriate psychotherapy services within the clinician's scope of competence Complete assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and other required clinical documentation Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical records Develop individualized, medically necessary treatment goals and interventions Coordinate care with healthcare providers, community organizations, and other members of the client's treatment team when clinically appropriate Participate in monthly case staffing and clinical consultation meetings Maintain professional communication with clients, administrative staff, and clinical leadership Follow applicable ethical standards, documentation requirements, organizational policies, and insurance guidelines Maintain at least 20 available appointment slots per week Provide services through in-person, telehealth, or hybrid scheduling based on organizational and client needs Minimum Qualifications Applicants must: Hold an active and unrestricted California Licensed Clinical Social Worker license Maintain their license in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences Possess strong clinical assessment, treatment-planning, and documentation skills Demonstrate the ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team Maintain professional liability insurance as required Complete all required employment, background-check, enrollment, and credentialing documentation Be available to offer a minimum of 20 appointment slots per week Meet applicable telehealth requirements when providing remote services Preferred Qualifications Preference may be given to applicants who: Have experience providing outpatient psychotherapy Have experience working with diverse populations and presenting concerns Are currently credentialed with commercial insurance or Medi-Cal managed-care plans Are qualified and interested in supervising associate clinical social workers Are comfortable maintaining a consistent weekly caseload Have evening or weekend availability Credentialing Timeline Lifepath Center assists clinicians with enrollment and credentialing for major insurance plans, including Medi-Cal managed-care plans. Applicants should be aware that insurance credentialing is not immediate and may take up to 90 days after all required documents and information have been submitted. Credentialing timelines are determined by individual insurance plans and may vary . Clinicians may not be able to begin seeing members of a particular insurance plan until that plan has approved and activated the clinician's credentialing.
