The Licensed Master Social Worker will be responsible for collaborating with other team members and conducting assessments, evaluations and therapy sessions. The successful candidate will have a background in psychology and experience working with clients from various backgrounds. An ideal applicant will also be compassionate, flexible and motivated by helping others work through their problems.

Responsibilities:

Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate a person's functional status in areas such as work, family relationships, and social interaction. Conduct psychotherapy to help patients to develop coping skills, self-awareness, and other personal resources that are important in daily living. Help patients to identify situations that may trigger emotional problems and to monitor and modify behavior that adversely affects their well-being. Help patients who are having difficulty in their lives to develop realistic goals and action plans for achieving them. Provide group therapy for patients who have similar concerns or life problems. Promote general mental health through community education programs.

Pay:

$55.00 per hour
