Work Environment This position is set in a remote work environment, allowing for flexible scheduling that supports both personal and professional commitments. You will collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and psychologists, ensuring a collective approach to patient care. The Hospice Center, with which we collaborate, provides a tranquil setting for our patients and a fulfilling atmosphere for our staff, leading to impactful interactions and care. Key Responsibilities As an LCSW at Insight Space, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve: Conducting comprehensive clinical assessments to gather pertinent information regarding patients' psychological and emotional well-being, forming the foundation for tailored treatment plans. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in alignment with established best practices, ensuring that therapies meet the unique needs of each patient. Providing psychotherapy utilizing various evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and others, allowing for adaptability to patient preferences. Maintaining thorough clinical records to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, facilitating transparency and accountability in patient care. Engaging in collaborative discussions with interdisciplinary team members to hone care strategies, optimize treatment effectiveness, and address any emerging patient needs. Participating in ongoing training and peer-review sessions which enhance professional skills and bolster the quality of care provided. Educating patients and their families about mental health concerns, available treatment options, and community resources, empowering them in their care journey. Staying updated with the latest research in mental health practices and integrating innovative methods into your clinical approach. Patient Population / Client Focus Your role predominantly focuses on serving a diverse patient population facing a variety of mental health challenges. You will engage with individuals from various backgrounds, assisting them through anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. This position calls for both empathy and efficacy in treatment delivery to ensure the highest standard of care for our patients in their most vulnerable moments. Qualifications A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required. A valid license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California is essential. A minimum of 3 years of clinical experience focused on delivering psychotherapy services is necessary for this position. Working knowledge of solution-focused psychotherapeutic techniques and interventions is preferred. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients and colleagues. Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills to effectively navigate complex client needs. An aptitude for teamwork, fostering collaboration across disciplines to enhance patient care. Preferred Experience Experience working within a hospice or palliative care setting is especially valuable, as it provides insight into the unique emotional and psychological needs of patients and families during end-of-life care. Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices is also advantageous in creating a supportive pathway for healing. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from
USD 115,000
to 130,000 yearly, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
