Your focus areas will include:
Faith-Integrated Counseling:
Integrating prayer, Scripture, and theological frameworks into evidence-based psychotherapy based on client comfort and preference.
Spiritual Formation & Growth:
Helping clients navigate spiritual warfare, existential doubt, identity in Christ, and spiritual trauma or abuse.
Relational & Family Restoration:
Providing Christian-based guidance for marriage, parenting struggles, family conflict, and interpersonal reconciliation.
Grief, Loss, & Life Transitions:
Supporting individuals through bereavement, career shifts, divorce, and coping with chronic health conditions using faith-rooted resilience. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive mental health assessments that honor both clinical diagnostics and the client's spiritual and faith background. Deliver individual, group, or family psychotherapy via telehealth and/or in-person sessions. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in our electronic health record (EHR) system. Collaborate with internal team members and external medical, psychiatric, or pastoral care providers to ensure comprehensive, whole-person client care. Engage in ongoing professional development and attend team meetings or case consultations as requested. Attend scheduled individual and group clinical supervision.
Qualifications & Requirements License:
Active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker(LCSW) or equivalent independent clinical license in Rhode Island (Required).
Experience:
Proven experience providing trauma-informed mental health services, with a demonstrated history of ethically integrating faith and spirituality into clinical practice.
Specialized Training:
Formal training or certifications in Christian/Biblical counseling, or a strong willingness to pursue ongoing education in faith-integrated clinical modalities.
Skills:
