Position Overview:
Affirm is seeking a compassionate and motivated LCSW and/or LCDC to join our growing team in Austin, TX. This individual will work closely with clients struggling with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders while helping support overall program growth and client success. We are looking for someone who is passionate about behavioral health, enjoys working in a collaborative environment, and is excited to be part of a growing startup-style organization.
Responsibilities:
Provide individual, group, and family counseling services Complete psychosocial assessments, treatment planning, and clinical documentation Facilitate process groups, psychoeducation, and recovery-focused programming Support clients with relapse prevention, coping skills, and recovery planning Coordinate care with outside providers and referral sources Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with clinical standards Build strong therapeutic relationships with clients and families Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support positive client outcomes Qualifications Active Texas LCSW or LCDC license required Experience working in behavioral health and/or substance use treatment preferred Strong documentation and communication skills Experience facilitating groups and working with diverse populations Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a team Passion for helping individuals in recovery What We Offer Competitive pay Growth opportunities within a growing organization Supportive and collaborative team environment Opportunity to help build and shape a growing program Meaningful work making a direct impact in the recovery community If you are passionate about recovery, behavioral health, and helping others heal, we would love to connect with you.
