Part-Time Mental Health Clinician - LICSW Required 20 Hours/Week | $62-$80/Hour | Sedro-Woolley, WA Heart-Centered Health is seeking an experienced Washington Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) for a part-time mental health role on a vocational training campus serving youth and young adults ages 16-24. Located in the beautiful foothills of the Cascade Mountains, this is a rewarding opportunity to provide meaningful clinical support in a collaborative campus environment focused on helping young people overcome barriers, build confidence, develop life and career skills, and move toward greater independence. This is not a traditional outpatient therapy role. The Mental Health Clinician works as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside healthcare professionals, counselors, the Substance Use Disorder Specialist, and program leadership to support the overall wellbeing and success of students.

Responsibilities may include:

Mental health assessments and clinical recommendations Short-term, solution-focused counseling Crisis assessment and intervention Psychoeducation and skill-building Support around stress, coping, emotional regulation, relationships, and other barriers to success Collaboration around co-occurring mental health and substance use concerns Case consultation and coordinated student support Referral to community providers when appropriate Clinical documentation Schedule Approximately 20 hours per week. Specific days and hours will be coordinated based on program needs and provider availability. Generally these hours can be completed in 2, 3 or 4 days each with a great deal of flexibility for the clinician. This role may be especially appealing to a clinician looking for consistent part-time work alongside private practice, telehealth, consulting, teaching, or other professional commitments. Compensation $62-$80 per hour, depending on experience. Required Qualifications Active, unrestricted Washington State LICSW At least one full year of independent LICSW licensure Master's degree in Social Work Experience providing mental health services Experience working with youth and young adults ages 16-24 preferred Strong clinical judgment and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary setting This position requires an LICSW with at least one year of independent licensure. Associate-level credentials and other license types cannot be considered.
