Description:

Behavioral Health LCSW Monday-Friday 0800-1640 License Required Locked unit, primarily voluntary admissions with some involuntary admissions, patients are expected to participate in group milieu setting. High attention to safety precautions on the floor is mandatory as many of our patients are admitted with suicidal ideation and we have stringent contraband protocols. This role extends beyond discharge planning and care coordination. The position provides the full continuum of behavioral health services on 1-South, including assessment, treatment planning, individual counseling, group therapy, ongoing treatment interventions, and discharge planning. The overlap with Care Management Social Workers primarily occurs around discharge planning and care coordination activities. Because the role's primary function is the provision of behavioral health treatment services, it is aligned within the Behavioral Health reporting structure.
