What You'll Do:

Provide long-term mental health counseling and psychotherapy to individuals in custody Conduct assessments, diagnose mental health conditions, and develop treatment plans Coordinate with facility staff to deliver ongoing mental health services Support mental health needs through individual and group therapy sessions Document patient progress, prepare reports, and maintain case records Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss diagnoses and treatment strategies Assist with community mental health initiatives and outreach as needed

Licensed (LCSW or LPC) in Alaska Experience in mental health counseling or related field
