What You'll Do:

Conduct interviews, diagnose, and treat patients in custody with mental health challenges Develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans, including individual and group therapy Coordinate care with facility staff and mental health supervisors Provide consultation and support to outside mental health providers and agencies Participate in staff conferences regarding diagnosis and treatment strategies Assist in developing community mental health initiatives and services Conduct occasional telehealth services as needed

What You Need:

Required:

Master's degree from an accredited institution in counseling, psychology, social work, or related field Valid Alaska license (LCSW or LPC) or temporary licensure support At least 1 year of relevant mental health experience Strong therapeutic and diagnostic skills Ability to establish rapport and maintain confidentiality

Preferred:
