What You'll Do:

Conduct mental health assessments, diagnosis, and therapy for individuals in custody Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including individual and group therapy Collaborate with correctional facility staff to coordinate care and ensure safety Make treatment recommendations in line with department policies Document all clinical activities accurately and timely Participate in case conference meetings and supervisor reviews Assist in developing treatment plans tailored to individual client needs

What You Need:

Active Alaska LCSW or LPC license (temporary licenses considered) Experience with mental health counseling, psychotherapy, and assessment Strong interpersonal skills with a capability for empathetic engagement Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Excellent documentation and communication skills About the

This position involves providing long-term mental health services to individuals in custody, focusing on maintaining or improving mental health, supporting adjustment, and reducing recidivism. Shifts may include evenings and weekends as needed.
