What You'll Do:

Provide skilled mental health assessment and psychotherapy to individuals in custody Coordinate care with facility staff and supervise under the department's Mental Health Clinician Supervisor Support and develop treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs Participate in diagnostic conferences with psychiatrists and clinicians Conduct group and individual therapy sessions Document treatment and progress accurately in compliance with protocols Occasionally provide telehealth behavioral health services as needed Contribute to staff training and community mental health education

What You Need:

Required:

Valid Alaska LCSW or LPC license Experience with long-term mental health treatment in correctional or similar setting Ability to perform clinical assessments, diagnose, and provide psychotherapy Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
