We are currently looking to hire a therapist who will be responsible for evaluating clients for mental and behavioral disorders. Ideal candidate will be skilled in needs assessment, counseling techniques, and treatment planning. Candidate must be able to counsel with compassion, be able to encourage clients to express their feelings, and help them to develop insight into themselves and their relationships. Candidate must also be able to guide clients in the development of coping skills and relapse prevention strategies.

Requirements:

Provide Counseling to adults and children Work directly with individuals providing psychotherapy. Provide ongoing treatment plans Assess client situations for delivery of services Follow Code of Ethics Good Time management Maintain records with documentation of therapy sessions Maintain adequate notes in a timely manner for insurance billing Collaborate with treatment providers as necessary Verify client's benefits for services Maintain all required licenses and malpractice insurance Understand the importance of rapport building Eligible to Apply for insurance and EAP panels Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Must speak English Excellent written and verbal communication skills Previous experience with mental health counseling Strong leadership skills Effective time management Positive attitude Wiliness to stay updated on new treatments, protocols, licensing requirements within the filed to work independently as part of the team. Must obtain malpractice insurance

Licensure:

Must hold Alabama licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Psychologist (LCP). ALC amd LMSW invited to apply for this position.
