We are professional, agile, customer-centric and our goal is to continue to grow our private practice in the surrounding areas. We provide mental health counseling for adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families in addition to substance use disorder treatment in an Outpatient setting and substance use assessments for referral to other treatment facilities. - Conduct individual and group therapy sessions for clients with a variety of mental health concerns including but not limited to depression, anxiety, grief, trauma and substance use disorders
- Conduct biopsychosocial assessments thoroughly and timely
- Provide diagnosis based on DSM-V
- Participates in weekly Treatment Team staff meetings and works as a part of a team of therapists
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address client needs
- Collect and analyze data to track client progress and treatment outcomes
- Collaborate with the client and with other healthcare professionals as needed to develop individualized comprehensive treatment plans
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and best practices in the field of mental health therapy
- Clinical documentation and paperwork as required by pay sources and policies of the organization
- Effective organizational and time management skills
- Compliance with HIPAA and confidentiality guidelines
- Knowledge and use of electronic health record
- Adherence to ethical guidelines and code of ethics by licensing body
Requirements:
- Master's degree in mental health counseling, psychology, or a related field
- Valid state licensure as
ALC, LPC, LMFT, MFTA, LICSW
- Experience with specialized forms of therapy such as art therapy, play therapy, EMDR, DBT, CBT, psychoeducation etc. is preferred
- Knowledge of coding and billing procedures for insurance reimbursement preferred but not required
- Familiarity with clinical research methodologies and ethical guidelines
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and cultural backgrounds
