Company Overview Families, Inc. Counseling Services is a private counseling agency accredited by The Joint Commission (TJC), dedicated to providing comprehensive mental health services throughout Northeast, North Central, and Central Arkansas. Since 2000, we have focused on delivering personalized care in the client's home, school, and outpatient clinic.
Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Based Mental Health Professional (MHP) to join our team. The MHP is responsible for delivering comprehensive mental health care to assigned clients through services such as intake assessments, treatment planning, therapy (individual, family, and group), psychoeducation, crisis intervention, and stabilization. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated clinician to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct mental health services to clients, including: Intake Assessments Treatment Planning (completed every 180 days) Individual, Family, and Group Therapy Crisis Intervention and Crisis Stabilization Deliver services at approved clinic or community locations based on clinical need. Monitor daily caseload via the MHP Caseload Compliance Report (Credible EHR). Complete all clinical documentation promptly, including: Daily progress notes and Safety/Incident Reports by end of next calendar day Documentation required for managed care and private insurance reimbursement Furnish required documentation to DCFS, legal systems, and other involved agencies. Participate in monthly clinic meetings and medical staffings (90% attendance required). Supervise and observe Qualified Behavioral Health Providers (QBHP) per company policy. Maintain HIPAA compliance and uphold client confidentiality at all times. Testify in court as required. Maintain current licensure in the state of Arkansas.
Requirements:
Education:
Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Licensure:
Must hold one of the following current licenses in the
State of Arkansas:
LCSW - Licensed Clinical Social Worker LPC -
Licensed Professional Counselor Skills & Qualifications:
Required:
Strong understanding of HIPAA and confidentiality standards Ability to deliver ethical, effective, and evidence-based care Willingness and ability to travel for work
Preferred:
Proficiency in electronic health record systems (e.g., Credible) Excellent organizational, spelling, grammar, and computer skills
