Job Description

```Duties```
  • Conduct individual, group, and family counseling sessions to address mental health concerns
  • Develop and implement treatment plans based on client needs and goals
  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to clients in acute distress
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive treatment
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate diagnosis and treatment recommendations
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mental health issues ```Qualifications```
  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or related field
  • Current state licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LAC/LPC, LMFT, ?LSW/LCSW/PLMSW, etc.)
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families
  • Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities, including psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and applied behavior analysis
  • Familiarity with special education services and supports for individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients from different backgrounds
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Experience in addiction counseling or trauma-informed care is a plus Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
