Education:
High School diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED, HiSET) required.
Lived Experience:
Personal experience as a consumer within the child welfare, probation, or mental health systems required.
Experience:
One (1) year of full-time experience providing non-professional, consumer-directed services in a mental health, healthcare, or social services setting preferred.
Certifications & Compliance:
First Aid Certification:
Valid certification from an accredited provider (e.g., American Red Cross).
Driver's License:
Valid California Driver's License with a driving record that meets company policy eligibility.
Peer Support Specialist Certification:
Must successfully complete certification within one year of employment.
