Our clinical lens centers the South Asian, East Asian, and immigrant experience, using evidence-based practices tailored to each client. We're also an inclusive practice, welcoming clients of every nationality, gender, and culture. Role Description We're hiring a part-time Mental Health Therapist based in or near the Bay Area to provide direct clinical services — intake assessments, individual, couples, and family therapy, and treatment planning for clients across the lifespan. This is primarily an in-person role at our Palo Alto office, with some telehealth availability across California; some evening and weekend hours will be needed. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychosocial evaluations, developing and updating treatment plans, documenting progress notes, and coordinating with other providers or community resources as needed. You'll take part in regular clinical consultation and have support and mentorship to grow — including opportunities to help lead workshops or groups as you develop. Newly licensed and newly registered associates are welcome. Qualifications Licensed (LMFT or LPCC) or registered associate (AMFT or APCC) in California — newly licensed/registered welcome Committed to building and sustaining a caseload of 20-25 sessions per week Currently residing in or near the Bay Area, able to see clients in person in Palo Alto Genuine interest in or lived understanding of the South Asian, East Asian, or immigrant experience Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field Strong interpersonal, communication, and documentation skills, with a commitment to ethical, culturally responsive practice Training in Gottman Method, EFT, or EMDR a plus, not required Fluency in Hindi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Urdu, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, Tagalog, or Spanish a plus Newly licensed and newly registered associates are welcome.
