Job Description

•Multiple openings for Full-Time candidates. The location is at the Monterey County Jail.•
Pay:
$100-130k/yr
Overview:
CHP is looking for licensed mental health clinicians who are passionate about and motivated to work incarcerated individuals. LMFT, LCSW, and LPCC are all welcome to apply! We are seeking dedicated therapists to join our team to develop a mental health curriculum, deliver the best patient care, and assist in the growth of pre-licensed mental health clinicians via supervision as licensed practitioners.
Responsibilities:
Monitor and document patient behaviors and progress Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans Assist in developing additional mental health curricula Conduct individual, group, and family therapy sessions with an individual caseload of youth Collaborate with the clinical team as well as the overarching multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, including discharge planning for continuity of care Supervise 1-3 pre-licensed mental health clinicians via weekly supervision, consultation, and review of documentation
Qualifications:
Unrestricted, independent licensure in the state of CA (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, Licensed Psychologists) Experience working with behavioral and mental health challenges Familiarity with motivational interviewing techniques, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy Proficiency in conducting individual and group therapy sessions Strong understanding of behavioral therapy principles Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
