Advent Group Ministries is dedicated to empowering individuals to restore relationships and break destructive cycles of abuse and addiction through faith-based healing and professional support. Our diverse team of counselors, social workers, and volunteers work collaboratively to foster hope, potential, and life restoration in the communities we serve. We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic mental health team. This role offers an opportunity to provide comprehensive behavioral health services within a faith-informed environment, supporting individuals across various age groups and backgrounds. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality patient care, utilizing evidence-based practices, and fostering a supportive therapeutic environment. Conduct clinical assessments, intake evaluations, and diagnostic evaluations to develop individualized treatment plans. Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and behavioral therapy. Implement specialized interventions for clients with PTSD, developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and addiction issues. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to facilitate client engagement and promote positive behavioral change. Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure proper coding using CPT (Current Procedural Terminology), ICD (International Classification of Diseases), ICD-9, ICD-10, and ICD coding standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for case management, crisis intervention, and community outreach efforts. Document patient progress meticulously within electronic medical records (EMR systems) while adhering to confidentiality standards. Engage in ongoing professional development through clinical research participation, data collection, and staying current with advances in mental health care. Proven expertise in psychotherapy techniques including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and applied behavior analysis. Strong background in child & family counseling, working with children, individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, and geriatrics. Experience with home & community care settings as well as hospital environments. Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records management, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding systems, and HIPAA compliance. Proficiency in behavioral health assessments, crisis management, addiction counseling, and PTSD care strategies. Ability to utilize EMR systems efficiently for documentation and data collection purposes. Knowledge of special education practices related to working with individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder.
