Behavioral Health Counselor Opportunity:

Must be comfortable treating children To be able to assess the clients need for Therapy Behavioral Health Counselor must be knowledgeable of community resources and programs and make appropriate referrals as required for both BH and SUD Services Maintain knowledge of community resources and programs and make appropriate referrals as required Coordinate all aspects of your client's treatment and provide ongoing counseling

Behavioral Health Counselor Qualifications:

The Behavioral Health Counselor must possess a current and active license as an LCSW or MFT to practice counseling in the State of California or be a registered

LCSW/MFCC

intern with the California Board of Behavioral Science Examiners. Must be aware of the State and Federal regulations regarding confidentiality and release of Medical and Behavioral Health information. Must be aware of current reporting laws concerning sexual, physical or emotional abuse of a minor or adult, and current laws pertaining to therapists.
