LCSW/LPC
MindCare Solutions, a clinician-owned and operated leader in comprehensive mental health care, is seeking a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to provide high-quality mental health services within a corrections facility. Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week,
Compensation:
negotiable (dependent on contract type)
Location:
Hudson, CO Position Summary:
Conduct psychosocial assessments and mental health evaluations for incarcerated individuals Provide individual and group therapy to address mental health, substance use, and behavioral issues Develop and implement treatment plans based on clinical needs Assess suicide risk and intervene during mental health crises Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Coordinate care with psychiatrists, medical staff, and correctional officers Make referrals for psychiatric services, medication management, or specialized care Support discharge planning and reentry coordination (e.g., community resources, housing, follow-up care) Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with legal and facility standards Provide crisis intervention and de-escalation as needed Educate staff on mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and behavioral management strategies Ensure compliance with ethical standards, confidentiality, and correctional policies
Qualifications:
Active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in CO where the facility is located Clinical experience in mental health (corrections, inpatient, or community behavioral health preferred) Experience with high-risk populations, including crisis intervention and suicide risk assessment Knowledge of trauma-informed care, substance use disorders, and co-occurring conditions Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams and correctional staff Familiarity with documentation standards, electronic health records (EHR), and regulatory compliance Understanding of ethical guidelines, confidentiality (HIPAA), and legal considerations in a correctional setting Basic life support (BLS/CPR) certification may be required (varies by facility) Benefits (W2): Clinician-first mentality Mileage Reimbursement Competitive Salary Malpractice Coverage Full Health & Wellness Benefits HSA/FSA 401k with 4% match Disability Life/ Ad&D Positive/Motivated Culture Company-Paid Holidays Flextime PTO Apply now Clinical Hudson, CO Denver, CO Brighton, CO Westminster, CO Share on: Apply now
