Our facility provides comprehensive, short-term stabilization and psychiatric care for individuals experiencing acute mental health crises. Our Licensed Intake Assessor completes timely, trauma‑informed evaluations to guide the right level of care—right away —bringing steady energy and teamwork to our busiest hours. How You Will Make a Difference Initial Psychiatric Assessment Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations on incoming patients Crisis Intervention & Risk Assessment Evaluate patients in acute psychiatric crisis Determine level of risk (e.g., suicidal ideation, psychosis, aggression) Implement immediate safety measures if needed Decide urgency of admission or need for higher level care Admission & Level-of-Care Decisions Determine if the patient meets criteria for inpatient psychiatric admission Recommend appropriate placement: Inpatient psych unit Partial hospitalization (PHP) Intensive outpatient (IOP) Collaborate with psychiatrists or providers for final decisions Coordination & Communication Communicate with: Physicians/psychiatrists Social workers and case managers Emergency departments, law enforcement, or family members Gather collateral information to support assessment What We're Looking For Active independent licensure (LSW) 2+ years acute behavioral health or crisis evaluation experience. Expertise in risk assessment, de‑escalation, and payer authorization processes.
