Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Based Clinician to join our dynamic mental health team. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify mental health needs, including diagnostic evaluations and trauma-informed care approaches. Deliver evidence-based individual and group counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment-based therapy for children, and motivational interviewing. Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to ensure student safety during emergencies or behavioral crises. Collaborate with school staff, families, and other professionals to develop and implement tailored case management plans that support student success. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and adhere to medical documentation standards using social work documentation tools. Facilitate behavioral management strategies and conflict resolution techniques to promote positive student behavior and emotional regulation. Support students with diverse needs, including those with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder, ensuring culturally sensitive counseling practices. Experience Proven experience working with children and adolescents in a school-based or clinical setting, demonstrating a strong understanding of adolescent development. Hands-on experience in child & family counseling, trauma-informed care, and working with individuals with disabilities or developmental delays. Skilled in crisis intervention, case management, and applying evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). Experience managing medical records within HIPAA guidelines. Knowledge of special education processes and experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams in educational environments. Strong conflict management skills combined with the ability to provide culturally competent counseling across diverse populations. This position offers the ability to work as often as you wish, with a minimum of 5 hours per week, up to 25 hours per week. Full licensed clinicians will be paid at a rate of $60 per hour, and associate level clinicians will be paid at a rate of $45 per hour. Supervision will be provided for associate level clinicians.
