Service Responsibilities Include:

Assess and plan patient care by evaluating psychiatric and psycho-social needs of patients Provide direct patient care using individual, couple, group, and family therapy specific to each patient's needs Provide direct crisis intervention to patient and families in multiple sites in the system and in the community Provides continuous education to patient and family members and refers them to appropriate levels of care, to support groups and to other available resources in order to maximize care and facilitate recovery or treatment process Ability to work effectively across programs for clients with mental illness, substance abuse, and co-occurring disorders Are you ready to make a difference? Responsibilities Conduct thorough mental health assessments and clinical evaluations for children, youth, and families to determine appropriate treatment plans. Deliver evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, behavior management, and psychodynamic approaches tailored to individual needs. Facilitate group therapy sessions and family counseling to promote positive communication and strengthen support systems. Implement crisis management strategies and crisis intervention techniques to ensure client safety during emergencies or acute episodes. Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards, including treatment planning, progress notes, and medical records using EMR/EHR systems. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on case management efforts, treatment adjustments, and discharge planning. Engage in ongoing research and professional development activities to stay current with best practices in mental health care for diverse populations including individuals with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), PTSD, and co-occurring disorders. Qualifications Fully licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or equivalent licensure in your state. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, and families in clinical or outpatient settings. Strong knowledge of psychotherapy modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-focused therapy, behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and art or dance therapy is highly desirable. Familiarity with

ICD-9/ICD-10

coding systems for diagnostic evaluation and medical documentation standards. Experience working with individuals with disabilities—including autism spectrum disorder—and co-occurring disorders is preferred. Proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and crisis management protocols. Telehealth experience is a plus; ability to deliver effective virtual therapy sessions while maintaining engagement and confidentiality. Excellent communication skills for client interaction, intake assessments, treatment planning, and collaboration with team members. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations, clinical ethical guidelines, medical terminology, and medical records management is essential.
