Headway is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Professional Counselor to join our innovative team. As a leader in mental health services, Headway connects patients with mental health professionals through a seamless interface, integrating therapy access with insurance to make mental health care readily available. We prioritize creating a supportive environment for both our clients and staff, focusing on continuous professional growth and therapeutic excellence. Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling sessions using evidence-based therapeutic practices. Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals with various mental and emotional disorders. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to plan or coordinate treatment, drawing on social and medical services as needed. Maintain confidentiality and records of therapy sessions in compliance with applicable legal and ethical codes. Participate in continuing education, workshops, or seminars to stay current with new developments in psychology and therapy practices. Help patients develop skills and behaviors necessary to recover from their disorders or to modify their behavior to cope more effectively with their situations. Required Skills Strong interpersonal and communication skills In-depth knowledge of various therapy modalities Ability to empathize with clients while maintaining professional boundaries Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
