Job Description
The Licensed Therapist will provide quality therapeutic services within a skilled nursing facility to adults with identified mental health or substance abuse diagnosis, in a safe environment engaging them in the therapy process. Treats clients, family members, visitors and fellow employees with courtesy, dignity and respect, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and competency. Complete progress notes weekly, exemplify a team concept, complete Bio-psychosocial assessments and treatments plans. The therapist will demonstrate ethical and professional conduct in the performance of all position functions, free of fraud, abuse and conflict of interest. Completes documentation including Mental Health treatment plans, treatment plan reviews, biopsychosocial assessments, required demographic reports, and discharge documentation. Job Requirements Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or post-acute settings. In-depth knowledge of Medicare A and B regulations and guidelines within a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting. Strong understanding of Medicare coverage criteria for skilled nursing and rehabilitation services. Proficiency in Medicare documentation requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and proper reimbursement. Master's degree in counseling, psychology, behavioral science or equivalent field of study Licensed by the State of Florida (preferred social work) Must pass a criminal background check Medicare Number (MBI) :
