KYDS MIAMI THERAPY CENTER

is a private practice in Doral, FL, and is looking for part-time or full time bilingual( English and Spanish) psychotherapists to join our thriving group practice with the opportunity to grow. We are a collaborative group of therapists who work well together in the office. We are looking for clinicians to work at least three days a week, and one of them needs to be on Saturday or four days a week to conduct psychotherapy in person. Experience in child therapy is required. The ideal therapist should be available from 3pm-7pm or/and Saturday 9am-3pm. A registered Mental Health Counselor Intern license is required.

Tasks:

• Notes within 24 hours after the session.
• Initial assessment within 48 hours of encounter.
• Feel confident diagnosing clients.
• Create a Treatment Plan within the second session.
• All pertinent Mental Examinations are done within the first three sessions.
• Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients.
• Meet with patients regularly to provide counseling, and evidenced-based treatment, and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of patient progress.
• Involve and advise family members when appropriate.
• Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies when necessary.
• Maintain thorough records of patient meetings and progress.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain client confidentiality.
